Long stays in Nagoya: three private stays with a kitchen and washing machine compared — how to choose for 1 week, 2 weeks or a month
For a week or more in Nagoya, choose a private stay where you can cook and do laundry yourself. Central Nagoya's three stays (Stays, House and Residence) in Nakamura Ward, west of Nagoya Station, all have a kitchen, a washing machine (or washer-dryer) and fast Wi-Fi, plus a 10% long-stay discount. From Nakamura Koen Station, nearest to House and Residence, Nagoya Station is 4 stops (about 7 minutes) on the Higashiyama subway line with no change; from Taiko-dori Station, nearest to Stays, it is 1 stop on the Sakura-dori Line. This page compares the three and explains how to choose by group size and length of stay.

What makes a stay in Nagoya work for a long visit?

For a month, Residence with its workspace is another option. The 10% long-stay discount applies at every stay; please check the booking site for conditions such as the minimum number of nights.
